Grief Activism

Research Hub

This research hub draws its focus from Maurice Stierl's (2016) conceptualization of "grief activism," as "contestations in grief" that can "foster relationalities and communities in opposition to a politics of division" (p. 174). The Grief Activism Research Hub will act as an interdisciplinary research portal to connect scholars engaging with the topics of public mourning, grief and memorialization as protest. The purpose of the Research Hub is to facilitate networking, collaboration, and the dissemination of research on the broad theme of 'grief activism.'
